The Lady Red Raiders traveled to Sioux Falls on Saturday, September 27th to compete in the Sanford Pentagon Tournament. The Lady Raiders went 2-2 in the tournament and finished 5th in the white division. They first faced Parker/Marion and fell short with scores of 17-25, 25-19, and 18-25. Next they defeated Hitchcock/Tulare with scores of 25-16, 11-25, and 25-23. In the first round of bracket play they lost to Winner 22-25 and 13-25. Then in the last match of the day they defeated Mount Vernon/Plankinton 25-18, 25-27, and 25-17.

Hannah Holzbauer accumulated 25 kills in the tournament along with Ravyn Medricky tallying 31, Brianna Fuchs had 9 and Brylie Link had 6. Braxton Nedved played in half the matches due to injury and ended with 54 assists. Kylin Insko stepped in and earned 27 assists. Behind the service line Holzbauer racked up 38 points/11 aces, Medricky added 22 points/6 aces, Link had 15 points/4 aces, Brianna Fuchs had 13 points/1 ace, and Nedved had 12 points/1 ace. Libby Kotab led the defense scrambling for 57 digs, Holzbauer picked up 41, Medricky added 40, Insko had 23, and Nedved had 22. Up at the net Medricky earned 4 stops while Fuchs and Link each had 3.
