Cheryl Swatek and Barbra Pechous were both accepted into the 2015 Dakota Resources Dakota Rising Entrepreneur Fellowship program.
2015 Wagner High School graduates Logan Foster, Derek Soukup, Trevor Lensing, Blanca Moreno, Jamie Anderson and Karlee Schroeder received scholarships sponsored by the Commercial State Bank of Wagner.
Janae Patterson competed in the discus throw at the state track meet and finished in 13th place. The girls medley team members Sadie Eitemiller, Rachel Dion, Taylor Eitemiller and Emily Brunsing took 15th place.
Leonard and Helen Cuka celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary.

Queens from the Wagner area took part in the Annual Fish Days Parade in Lake Andes including Tiny Miss North/South Dakota, Izabella Zephier; 2004 Labor Day Queen, Brittany Youn; and winners in various categories in the 2015 North and South Dakota Dream Girls USA Pageant, Julia Marshall, Taira Little and Miranda Six Toes.
Six members of the Wagner track team qualified for the state meet in a total of 13 different events. Kristi Donelan (5th place in long jump), Kara Schroeder, Ryan Krcil, Jared Carda (7th in the pole vault), Bubba Slaba (7th in the 100m dash and 4th in the 400m dash), Derrick Martin and alternate Ryan Kocer.
