Southern Charles-Mix Dakota Rising held a business resource fair at the Wagner Theater with seven attending businesses; Wagner Area Growth, YST Economic Development, Dakota Resources, Governor’s Office of Economic Development, Small Business Development Center, Department of Labor, Fort Randall Credit Union, Commercial State Bank, First Dakota Bank, Juffer Inc., Frei Insurance, Bures & Kronaizl and Bures & Associates.
Both 5th and 6th grade Destination Imagination teams took 1st place at the Regional D1 competition.
AAU Region Champs were Michael (Cruz) Koupal, Gannon Knebel, Jhett Breen, Jagger Tyler, Nolan Dvorak, Lance Soukup, Bradyn Lhotak, Dawson Lensing and Jace Johnson.

Dennis Houseman, Lake Andes was the Grand Prize $5000 cash winner of the American Legion Greer Post No. 11. It was the 16th annual sweepstakes.
Wagner was honored to have Brian Hansen, Dave Zott, Kevin Kaesvaharin, Neil Graff and several other players present at WCS, for a sports Challenge and NFL Night of Champions.
Wrestlers taking part in the Black Hills National Wrestling Tournament were Matt Hill, Mavrick Hill, Mitch Breen, Bryant Soulek, Derek Dickerson, Brady Cuka, Alex Kocer and Jonathan Cuka.

Births at the Wagner Community Hospital were a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Larry Frager and a son to Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Abdouch, a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. William Cuka and twins, a boy and a girl to Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Dostal.
