Andes Central was proud to announce the selection of two senior boys basketball players to the All-Conference team, Colter Florey and Grant Petrik.
The Missouri River flooded. The Fort Randall Casino held their ribbon cutting for the new casino.

At Andes Central’s first track meet of the season, Cody Snyder broke a record in the shot put, with a throw of 58 feet which beat the old record of 57 feet three inches.
Dakota Bowl, a bowling alley café and bar was sold to Randy Spreckels.

Fastway is the name of the new restaurant in Marty that opened up next to the college in Marty.
New business opening, All Season’s Storage. The owners are Brian and Alicia (Winckler) Braun of Lake Andes.
Kristin Dvorak of Lake Andes competed in the Sioux Falls half marathon. The race benefited Children’s Miracle Network and Sandford Children’s Hospital.
Homecoming King and Queen candidates were Patrisse Vasek, Angelia Tronvold, Cheyenne Long, Tim Medicine Horn, Ryan Knudsen, and Joey McKeegan.
