20 Years Ago – 2004

Erica Gall, Tina Gau, Brandi Gau, and Katie Gall received All- Conference honors for the Lady Eagles Volleyball team.

Work continued on the shelter project at the city swimming pool renovations. Specialist Chelaine Knudson was serving with the South Dakota National Guard 109th Engineer Group stationed in Afghanistan. She was half way done with a scheduled year-long deployment. 30 Years Ago – 1994

Construction began on the new Fire Station and Community Building.

Duane Myears, Bradly Florey, David Ahrens, and Kelly Tschumper completed basic training.

Rita Svatos was chosen president of the local chapter of the Jaycettes.

Lake Andes Eagles met the Rapid City Cathedral, in their first home game of the season.

Timmy Otte celebrated his seventh birthday by entertaining guests at his home.

Elaine Padrnos was selected by the senior class and faculty to be the school’s candidate for the “Good Citizen Pilgrimage.'

90 Years Ago – 1934

The boys’ basketball defeated the alumni 34-30. The alumni team consisted of Kelison, Ritts, Page, L. Beemer and Tomic.
