Fort to Field 50 Paddle Battle was held. More than 100 racers took the challenge to either canoe or kayak the 50 mile stretch of river.
Raymond Kostel designed a canon when he was 44 years old and brought it to the Wagner Good Samaritan Society to share his story about it and let people see the canon.

A severe hail storm did extensive damage to crops and buildings in a 90 square mile area in Charles-Mix County.
