OUTSTANDING MALE TRACK ATHLETE

By

Jordan Houseman, son of April Long of Lake Andes, was the recipient of the “Outstanding Male Track Athlete” at the recent North Central Association of Schools for the Blind (NCASB) Track & Field Meet in Columbus, Ohio.

Jordan was nominated by Christy Hulscher, SDSBVI Athletic Director/Head Coach and was recognized for his competitive spirit and a love for all sports. Jordan is respected and highly regarded by his peers, staff, and all those who get to know him.

Jordan is currently SDSBVI’s most experienced NC’s student-athlete having participated for the last five years; competing in four events. He works hard in his academic studies and enjoys his off-campus jobs. Jordan is always willing to step up to a challenge and give it his all. He is also an accomplished Special Olympics student-athlete.

We are proud of Jordan!
