IS ONLINE LEARNING AS GOOD AS FACE-TO-FACE LEARNING?
Do you prefer online learning or face-to-face learning better? I prefer face-to-face learning better because you can comprehend the knowledge that you are gaining. The positive effects of online learning are flexibility, reduced cost, and more free time you have to spend on other things that you have going on. Personally, I think online learning is harder to comprehend the knowledge that you are taking in. Online learning makes it more difficult to ask your teacher questions on your assignments that you have. Some other negative effects of online learning are that students use more screen time, and some students have a screen time limit. Also, online learning may not work for some students because some parents can’t afford WIFI. Some student’s parents can’t afford devices that the students can do their assignments on. In addition, some kids get bad grades from online learning and they may not be able maintain their grades because of not asking teachers the question that they for them.
If the students don’t have access to the internet, the teachers have to find a way to get that assignment to that student. I like face-to face learning better than online learning, because face-to-face learning is easier for me to understand, and it’s easier to ask teachers questions. The positive side of face-face learning is that it encourages student’s social skills. On the other hand, some students are able to understand what they are learning in or out of the classroom.
