NOW YOU KNOW WHERE TO LOOK
PROVERBS 19:20,21 "Hear counsel and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in the latter end."(KJV)
"There are many devices (plans) in a man's heart: nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand."(KJV)
When situations come about in your life and you are not sure what to do about them, then you should seek counsel from someone who can give you proper instruction about the matter. Go to your Pastor or another person of faith to help you to decide what to do. This is the best way that you can find a wise form of instruction.
Many people will use other ways to get around doing the things God's Way. They will prefer to take counsel from a friend or family member for advise about how to deal with a certain situation. Checking in with several family members of several friends and trying to pick out from them which one is the best for your circumstance.
But we know that there is no circumstance that hasn't been given an example in the Bible for us to learn by. The Bible says "search the scriptures", you will find that your pastor or person of faith will do for you what you need done.
The counsel of the Lord comes from the Bible.
Once you find scripture regarding a circumstance in the Bible then a person should do one of two things. One: If it instructs you not to do something, don't do it. Two: If it instructs you to go ahead and do something, then do it. This is counseling of the Lord.
As we know the Bible is God's Word and is completely correct in all forms of instruction. By reading the Bible and doing what it says to do, you will be getting the best counseling that you can get.
Following God's Word you can and will be able to decide without fail what you should do in any situation.
You will always get the right instruction from the Bible.
Now you know where to look, will you look into your Bible for your answer?
