Senior Night on Thursday, January 22, was filled with emotion, appreciation, and strong performances as the gymnastics team honored three seniors who have made a lasting impact on the program.
Recognized during the evening were Amelia Rathgeber of Bon Homme, Addison Cuka of Wagner, and team manager Libby Kotab of Wagner. Each senior was celebrated for her dedication, leadership, and positive influence on teammates both in and out of the gym.
The night was made even more special by a strong showing across all events, with several varsity and junior varsity athletes posting season-best scores and earning event wins and podium finishes. Highlights included standout performances on bars, beam, floor, and vault, as well as multiple all-around placings.
As the regular season winds down, the team has just two meets remaining before regional competition begins the first weekend of February in Vermillion. Coaches expressed pride in the team’s growth, work ethic, and resilience as they prepare for the postseason push.
