national library week
Libraries are celebrating National Library Week with the theme “Connect With
Your Library” It’s a time to get word out that libraries are your place to get connected with broadband, computers, books, audios, magazines, reference information, and other resources.
Library Boards advocate for their local libraries. They believe in the value that they offer and work with staff to bring the best possible library service to their community. They promote their libraries and encourage community members to visit and make use of all there is available to them.
Contributing to the success of the Wagner Public Library are volunteer members Jan Twitero, President, Sue Larson, Vice President, Brad Roth, Treasurer, Rich Dufur, City Council Representative, Fran Podzimek, Trustee and Marlaine Doidge, Trustee.
The Wagner Public Library Board and staff are encouraging you to connect with us on the local level. April 4-8 you are welcome to visit us in person or virtually.
The Library is open from 9:00 to 5:00 Monday through Friday. Remember, we do stay open over the noon hour and our door is located on the east side of the building.
Throughout Library Week all overdue materials can be brought back fine free. Patrons can bring these materials in or use the Eagle Book/Flag drop on the west side of the building. We also have a large selection of give-away and reasonably priced books for sale.
Virtually you can connect with the library website anytime at https://wagnerpublic. yoursdlibrary.org
You can search the growing inventory of books on our Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC). You can also browse the many titles available through our Membership with the South Dakota Titles To Go (SDTTG) program. These virtual materials can be loaded on your own Internet connected devices. You must have a current library card and login in information to access these items.
Visit us during library week and we will get you connected!!!!
