MORE SNOW AND FRIGID TEMPERATURES ARRIVE
Dangerous cold weather hit the area this weekend with light snow causing school closures at Andes Central and Marty as temperatures Monday Morning were below zero. A wind chill advisory was in effect Monday morning with wind chills as low as 30 degrees below zero for portions of south central and southeast South Dakota. The forecast for the week thankfully looks a little warmer with temperatures predicted to hit 34 degrees by Saturday but chances of snow are also in the forecast on thursday and again for the weekend. Bundle up everyone and stay warm and safe as spring is almost here!
