A MESSAGE WITHIN THE WRITTEN WORD

MARK 4:31,32 31) "It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that are in the earth.

32) But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches, so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it."(KJV)

Now we know that these two scriptures were Jesus comparing what heaven is like. But we also know that there are messages within the written messages.

So lets look at these two scriptures as they would be talking about faith.

Jesus said "If ye have faith as a mustard seed." Now Jesus is indicating the beginning of faith in a person. Their faith is very little, But as the Word of God is planted into their minds thru preaching, and Bible reading and teaching, this person"s faith shall start to grow.

As that person continues to grow in faith ,their faith becomes part of their life to live by.

Their faith becomes so strong that they will then share their faith, as the mustard seed grows--so does your faith.

A mustard seed requires frequent watering to grow. Faith needs frequent learning in order to grow. Without water the mustard seed will wilt and die out. The same works for faith, without continuing to feed on the Word of God---and incorporate the knowledge of God into your life--faith will dwindle.

Be sure you are getting the nourishment from the Word of God regularly so that your faith will grow and you can be used of God to spread His Words to others.

How strong is your Faith?
