The Wagner Community Memorial Hospital – Avera Auxiliary held their meeting on January 22 with eight members present. President Pearl Weber called the meeting to order and members read the Auxiliary Prayer.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Treasurer’s report was given and approved.
Report was given on the cards sent since the last meeting.
A thank you card was read from Karen Soulek, winner of the quilt.
Bryan Slaba, CEO. spoke to members, thanking us for the work we have done for the hospital, with our donations from quilt raffles to help purchase items needed in all areas of hospital and clinic. The Blood Drive will now be done with the hospital lab, as the auxiliary will be dissolving.
A big thank you to Pearl Weber for serving as President for the last ten years.
The last meeting for the Auxiliary will be held February 26 with Margie Stone serving refreshments.
There being no further business, Joann Winckler made motion to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried. Refreshments were served by Pearl Weber and Joann Houska.
