Avon Legion and Auxiliary held their Memorial Day Program Monday, May 27th. Jim and Shirley Jonkers received 70 year recognition for American Legion Membership. Florence Powers read the Auxiliary Departed with Lydia Yost and Abby Gretschmann assisting (pictures above). Danielle Wallinga and her son, Caleb, sang the National Anthem, Rev. Ken Johnson gave prayer (photos to right). Pictured below, Justin Lukkes, Jed Fathke, Kenny Podzimek, Wally Voigt, Joe Kafka and Kenny Powers. Joe Kafka was the guest speaker.
