MEET THE 2024 HOMECOMING CANDIDATES

The son of Chad and Tootie Loeffler, Hunter has been involved in football, track, baseball, basketball, FFA, National Honor Society, and served as Class President during his high school years. Hunter plans to rally school spirit by promoting the dress up days and modeling the right way to keep the spirit and tradition going for years to come. What Hunter is most looking forward to during homecoming his senior year is the football team winning this Friday night and the Lady Thunder winning their volleyball game on Tuesday. Hunter’s favorite part of homecoming is the school spirit as well as the support and excitement from the school and community during the sporting events of homecoming week. He feels very honored to be nominated for King and thankful for the opportunity and the fun that will come with it.

Andrew Johnson

Son of Kathy and Brian Johnson, Andrew has been involved in basketball, football, track, National Honor Society, and JAG during his high school years. Andrew plans to get his fellow students excited for homecoming by participating in the events and making them fun. What he is looking forward to most during his senior homecoming week is getting out of class to work on the senior float. The football game is Andrew’s favorite part of homecoming. Andrew feels great about being nominated for homecoming King because it shows that he is well-liked amongst his classmates.

Ty Archambeau

The son of Rochelle Garcia and Jordan Archambeau, Ty has been a part of basketball, football, and track during his high school years at Andes Central. He plans to rally school spirit by telling his fellow students that the Thunderhawks are going to win the homecoming football game on Friday. What Ty is looking forward to the most during his senior year homecoming is getting to play in the big homecoming game. Ty is very happy to have been nominated for homecoming King.

Mahpiya Irving

Mahpiya is the daughter of Darla Irving and BearHand Fischer Sr. She is also the granddaughter of Beverly Irving and Everdale Songhawk. During her high school years, Mahpiya has been involved in being captain of both the basketball and volleyball teams, senior class treasurer, National Honor Society secretary, and JAG President. Mahpiya plans to get fellow students excited during homecoming week by participating in every dress up day to encourage others to do it as well. She also plans to be very loud and cheerful during the pep rally to show the younger kids that having school spirit is fun. During her senior homecoming week, Mahpiya is most looking forward to spending her last year’s homecoming with her long-time classmates. Her favorite part of homecoming is decorating the class float and handing out candy during the parade. Mahpiya was very surprised to be nominated for homecoming Queen. No matter what the outcome, she will be happy to be on the stage with some of her good friends.

Emery Bultje

The daughter of Brice and Darci Bultje, Emery has been active in FCCLA, track, football cheer, choir, band, Student Council President, FFA, and National Honor Society during her high school years. She plans to rally school spirit amongst her peers by being excited herself to set an example. As a cheerleader, it is her job to get people hyped up. She also plans to go all out with the different dress-up days this week. During Emery’s senior year homecoming, she is most looking forward to everything: the game, pep rally, dress up days, Coronation, and spending time with friends. Her favorite part of homecoming is always the football game and pep rally. Emery was very excited to be nominated for Queen. It is exciting to her as she was a crown bearer in elementary school and being a part of the homecoming royalty has been something that she has wanted to be a part of since then.

Syrianna Never Misses A Shot

Syrianna is the daughter of Tara RoanEagle and Paul Never Misses A Shot. She is also the granddaughter of CJ and Joan Jones. Over the course of her high school years, Syrianna has been involved in volleyball, basketball, track, cheer, JAG, and Student Council. She plans to get her fellow students excited about homecoming week by dressing up for every dress up day and making sure that everyone is included in each of the week’s activities. What Syrianna is most looking forward to her senior homecoming is being in the moment and cherishing her last homecoming with her classmates. Syrianna’s favorite parts of homecoming is making the class floats with her classmates, the football game, and the pep rally. She feels very excited, surprised, and grateful for the chance to be crowned homecoming Queen.
