Where can you enjoy three days of fun? In Lake Andes, the Most Magical Place of 2021, celebrating Fish Days June 4, 5 & 6! One of the Most Wonderful events during Fish Days is the Mr. Carp and Ms. Bullhead competition. This year’s Mr. Carp & Ms. Bullhead Candidates are ready to make their dreams come true by competing for their 2021 crown. In order for them to achieve this honor, they need your help! Vote for your favorite candidate by tossing some money in their bucket. They will be seen at various events during Fish Days and may have buckets at local businesses. The candidates who raise the most money will be crowned Mr. Carp & Ms. Bullhead Saturday night during the street dance! Your contribution helps pay for the Fish Days events we all love to attend, so please participate in the tradition!

Mr. Carp Candidates

After many years of hoping to become a candidate, Dan Hjelm’s wish to have a chance at the crown has come true! Dan says he has the perfect recipe for success which will surely grill up the most votes for his dream of becoming Mr. Carp!

Seth Stluka said he is taking in all of the advice he can from the past candidates. He doesn’t want to give up his entire strategy, but it is possible he and Avery might switch things up this year. He is confident his plan will result in getting him the crown!

Daaron Tronvold said he has been gearing up to win this competition since he heard his dad was crowned Mr. Carp in 1998! When asked about his strategy, he said he will have no problem lighting up his competition to bring him the win!

Ms. Bullhead Candidates

Jewel Brewer said I am ready for this challenge! She has been chefing up a plan that will cook up the most votes by Saturday night! She said she is excited to be able to kiss the Bullhead when she wins!

While Amber Patterson is preparing Lake Andes to be the Most Magical Place for Fish Days, she will also be strategizing her best chances to win. She said she will be able to get her buckets in the best places in town to secure a win. Becoming Ms. Bullhead has always been a dream of hers!

Riding her way into this competition is Avery Schacht. She plans to gallop all over town to rope in all of the votes she can! She is confident her dreams of becoming Ms. Bullhead will come true this year!

If you are lucky enough to be chosen for this prestigious honor for Fish Days (or just simply volunteer yourself), you would be helping Lake Andes carry on the tradition of providing a fun filled weekend.
