MAY DAY TRADITION CONTINUES IN AVON

By
May Day has become a forgotten tradition. On this day neighbors may leave baskets of flowers on each others doorstep, a popular tradition in the 19th and 20th century. Amy Beeson and Dixie Jurrens with Pirate Prep Childcare are helping carry on this tradition. They took the children around town to local businesses and houses to deliver May Day baskets to 37 people. Their act of kindness brightened everyones day! Courtesy photos.
