Marty hosted Sioux Falls Lutheran Tuesday, October 23 for the lady Braves final home volleyball game of the season. Unfortunately, the Braves fell to the Eagles 0-3. The score of the first and second set was Marty with 11 and Sioux Falls Lutheran with 25. The final set of the night had the lady Braves with 8 points and the lady Eagles with 25 points.

It was Parents’ Night for both the Braves volleyball and football teams which was held in between the JV and Varsity games. The lady Braves have four seniors this year. Nadia Heth, Gabrielle Blacksmith, Jordis Song Hawk and Tahleah Rouse. Parents/ representatives for the seniors included Stephanie Cournoyer for Nadia, Trinity and Joseph Blacksmith for Gabrielle, Justin and Bella Song Hawk for Jordis and Thrista Rouse for Tahleah.

Junior members of the volleyball team are Elsie Metcalf, Genesis Patterson, Ashlyn Crow Eagle and Deandra Garneaux. Sophomores on the team are Rozario Zephier, Cadence Bernie, and Jalise Bruguier. Freshmen team members are Keyvarri Vasek and Jenaya Holiday.

The lady Braves are coached by head coach, Galicia Drapeau, and assistant coach, Tasheena Drapeau.

Parent’s Night for the Marty Braves football team was also held that night due to the weather the previous week at the Brave’s last home football game. Those in attendance were Perry Little and Eva Ortiz for Isaiah Keeble; Heather Rouse and Galicia Drapeau for Augusto Rivera and Kenny Cook for Kysin Cook.
