Makayla Kopp
Makayla Virginia Kopp was born on October 29, 2003 to Brad and Carla Kopp. She is the youngest of four with three older brothers, Troy, John and Tyler.
Her favorite subject in school is math. She loves math the most because when solving her own problems is too hard, at least she can solve for X. Science is also enjoyable because of the experiments. Kopp loves both of the teachers in each class.
The most challenging task as a senior is letting all the “lasts” pass by. In Makayla’s spare time she likes to be with friends, watch movies, and get caught up in Poppe’s classroom talking. Makayla’s favorite high school activity is all of them.
One thing Kopp will always remember was from two years ago. “Playing over and over in my head is playing Chester in the SoDak 16 my sophomore year. We almost beat them going into five sets. They were ranked #2 and Avon was #15.” An inspirational quote Kopp lives by is, “The woman who follows the crowd will usually go no further than the crowd. The woman who walks alone is likely to find herself in places no one has been before.” -Albert Einstein.
