Ted Rutter returned Wednesday from Washta, Iowa, where he had been picking corn for several weeks.
Arthur McGhee, who has been working near Bijou Hills spent a few days last week home.
The Grajkowski young folks drove to Milltown last Sunday and spent the day with their brother Ted and family.
Miss Rose Dagher, charming daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Daughter of this place, announced last week her marriage in October to Harry Chapman of Wagner.
Val Sanborn and B. Meis of Geddes were callers in the Wheeler bottom one day last week.

A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Gross at the Wagner Hospital November 10.
A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hruska at Wagner Nov. 4.
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Brooks have returned from their trip to Spokane, Washington, where they visited their daughter and son-inlaw, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Svatos and their new grandson.
Mrs. George Schekel and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Conlon of Wagner went to Minneapolis the first of the week on a buying trip for Buches store.
Pvt. Rodney Peterson, whose parents, Mr. and Mrs. Helmer Peterson, live in Lake Andes, is serving at Fort Richardson, the largest Army installation in Alaska.
Dean Swanson arrived home from Warren Field at Cheyenne, Wyoming. He will visit with his parents before going to Alaska. Dean is in the Y.S. Air Corp.

Neighbors gathered at the home of Alvin Wentland in Pickstown Friday night to help them celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary.
