1st PLACE: Local Women’s Bowling Team, Arc Bowlers, sponsored by TJ’s Welding of Avon, received first place in the Tyndall Lanes League. The Arc Bowlers then traveled to the SD State Women’s Championship at Brookings where they received 19th place overall. The Arc Bowlers team members and their individual placements include: Deana Wronko of Springfield, 112th place Handicap Singles and 34th place Handicap Doubles; Penny Goeman of Avon, team captain, 34th place Handicap Doubles, 28th place Handicap Singles; Cindy Sassman of Avon and Donna Bierman of Avon.
