Chapter W began on April 11, 1923 in Wagner. Our charter members were Constance Rubertus, Daisy Frick, Edith Williamson, Minnie Gable, Nettie Dunham, Hazel Frei, Myrtle Gable, Thekla Morgan, Gena Gorman, Grace Shay, Susie Pinard, and Mildred Leopp. Today we have 40 members.

Our normal business meeting was held April 11, 2023 with 24 members present at Wagner Theatre’s meeting room. We celebrated our past by learning about each founding member and looking at memorabilia. We continued celebrating a century on April 15, 2023 with a Mimosas and Memorabilia brunch at Knothead’s meeting room. We enjoyed each other’s company during brunch and raised money through a purse auction for our local scholarships. PEO was founded to help women with education, and we are proud to give scholarships to three senior girls graduating this year.
