Lyle and Kay Johnson of Salem were visitors on Friday and overnight guests in the home of his sister, Arlys Thompson. Lyle and Arlys attended the funeral on Saturday of Eugene Payer at St. Mark;s Catholic Church in Lake Andes.

Sharon Van Gerpen drove to Springfield last Thursday to the Assisted Living to celebrate the 95th birthday of her aunt, Jessie Heusinkveld.

Glenn and Brenda Vilhauer of Mitchell were visitors on Friday in the home of his sister, Charlene and Kevin Tjeerdsma. They came to visit also with his sister, Elaine and Jim Johnson of Naples, Florida and his brother, Loren Vilhauer of Pierre who have been in Avon for several weeks, but left on Saturday to go back home.

Robin Schnaidt of Menno was a visitor on Saturday in the home of her mother, Shirley and Jim Yonkers. Shirley's son, Todd Weber of Menno was a supper guest on Wednesday.

Matt, Amy, Emma and Lydia Yost of Wagner were visitors Sunday night in the home their parents and grandparents, Wally and Debbie Voigt.
