Kevin and Charlene Tjeerdsma were in Sioux Falls from Wednesday until Sunday. On Saturday they attended the wedding of their son, Tyler Tjeerdsma and Courtney Brudget of Sioux Falls.

Jim and Shirley Yonkers visited Bob Reiff on Sunday at the Good Samaritan Center in Wagner.

Rita Ridgway enjoyed a visit for three weeks in the home of her daughter, Karla and Matthew VendeBossche of Lusk, Wyoming. In returning home on Friday, Karla brought her as far as Valentine, Nebraska where Rita's son, Kelly Ridgway of Sioux City, Iowa met her to drive her back to Avon.

Conrad and Erma Meyer, and Kevin and Sarah Meyer and Evan Sallee of Tabor were weekend visitors in the home of Sarah's parents, Steven and Susan Veik of Haxton, Colorado.

Diane Ewing of Sioux Falls, Jim and Vicki Schuurmans of Tyndall, Andrew, Tracy, Fiona and Kai Gillen of Sioux Falls, Bill Ewing of Hollywood Maryland and Jon and Lynn Stather had lunch together in Sioux Falls on Saturday.

Wally and Debbie Voigt were supper guests on Sunday in the home of their daughter Amy, Matt, Emma and Lydia Yost of Wagner.

Jim and Elaine Johnson of Naples, Florida and Loren Vilhauer of Pierre are spending a few days visiting in the home of their sister, Charlene and Kevin Tjeerdsma.

Todd Weber of Menno was a visitor for a couple days last week in the home of his mother, Shirley and Jim Yonkers.

Betty Lou Harmacek attended the 8th grade volleyball game of her great-granddaughter, Taziah of Alexandria on Thursday at the Hanson gym. On Friday Betty Lou attended the Hanson Homecoming parade with a theme of "Olympics" where she enjoyed watching her daughter, Julie Bridge and her 1st graders walk in the parade and Taziah on her 8th grade float. Taziah was recognized for getting 1st place in the Varsity Girls Cross Country at the Cornbelt Conference Tournament in Irene which the girls team also won. The team also placed 1st at the Platte-Geddes Invitational.
