Sharon Van Gerpen, Darla Van Gerpen, Brynn Baade and Addy Fathke drove to Hull, Iowa last Wednesday where they had lunch with their mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Bernice Heusinkveld at Aspen Heights.

Jill Grogan of Peoria, Arizona was a visitor for a few days in the home of her brother, Jeff and Monica Wepking. She also spent time with her mother, Barbara Wepking at the Good Samaritan Center in Tyndall. She also visited with Sandy Pier, Al Vacknitz and Keith Noe who are residents at the GSC.

Conrad and Erma Meyer celebrated a belated 50th Wedding Anniversary with their family and friends Saturday at JoDean’s in Yankton. Those attending were Marlo Anderson of Hartford, Karen, Haley and Ramey Gearhart of Ramona, Tanner Johnson of Clark, Kevin, Sarah, Nate, Callie, Leah Meyer and Evan Sallee of Tabor.

Elaine Vesely of Tyndall, Ruth Ollila of Rapid City, Roger Burfeindt of Chamberlain and their mother Lillian Burfeindt enjoyed eating out together last Monday. During the week, Elaine, Ruth, and Lillian spent time together at Elaine’s and at Lillian’s, and also did some shopping in Yankton.

Jon and Lynn Stather were in Sioux Falls on Friday where they had lunch with her sister, Diane Ewing.

Randy and Barb Schroeder of Atkinson, Nebraska were visitors on Saturday in the home of her mother, Margaret Poppe.

Richard Reub of Oregon City, Oregon and Harold and Helen Eben of George, Iowa were visitors last week in the home of Irene Eben.

Emma Yost of Wagner was honored on her 17th birthday on Sunday at the home of her grandparents, Wally and Debbie Voigt. Guests were Matt, Amy and Lydia Yost of Wagner, Richard and Nina Reiff, Lance Reiff, Wyatt, Amanda, Avery and Alyvia Beeson, Tom and Jo Reiff of Harrisburg, Cleo Reiff, Paula Vilhauer and Jon and Molly Vilhauer.

Nyla Raysby and her daughter, Dawn Bures and granddaughter, Sadie Bures of Sioux Falls participated in the Alzheimer’s Walk in Sioux Falls on Saturday.

Ed and Sharon Van Gerpen and Mary Brandt of Sioux Falls had lunch together in Sioux Falls on Saturday. On Sunday, Ed and Sharon visited her aunt Jessie Heusinkveld at the Assisted Living in Springfield.

Jenny Bridge and Julie Bridge of Alexandria and Betty Lou Harmacek attended the 8th grade volleyball game in Alexandria at the Hanson gym to watch their daughter, granddaughter and great-granddaughter, Taziah play for Hanson.

Correction: Jarvis and Marilyn Winckler enjoyed a celebration of their 50th Wedding Anniversary with their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren by renting a cabin at Deadwood.
