Jim and Myrna Eben of Grand Rapids, Michigan were visitors this past week in the home of his mother, Irene Eben. Dan and Ramona Bloodgood of Mitchell were also visitors this past week.

Arlys Thompson was in Shore View, Minnesota from last Friday until Tuesday where she was a visitor in the home of her daughters, Gayle, Bryan and Carley Cushenberry and Nan, Brian and Katie Renstrom. Her granddaughter, Carley returned home with her and is visiting for a few days.

Jarvis and Marilyn Winckler attended the State Baseball Tournament (13 and under) in Brookings from Thursday until Saturday in which their grandson, Jaden Brandt of Pierre played in.

A Celebration of Life for Harold and Bernice Jaeger was held on Sunday at the Catholic Church in Geddes with all of their family in attendance, along with Elaine Boltjes and her family Gary and Kathy Boltjes and Steve Boltjes, Alice Van Zee and her family, Jan and Larry Hansum and Bob and Barb Boltjes, all of Platte and Cornelia Tjeedsma. Bernice was a former sister-in-law to them.

Lillian Burfeindt and her grandson, Ross and great-grandchildren, River and Wren Haenfler of Rapid City were supper guests on Saturday in the home of Lillian's daughter, Elaine Vesely of Tyndall.

Conrad and Erma Meyer and their daughter, Karen Gearhart of Ramona spent the weekend with Marlo Anderson of Hartford. They attended the Sunday morning worship service at the rural Trinity Lutheran Church followed by eating out for dinner.
