Ethel Reiff was honored on her 88th birthday on Sunday. Guests were Tom and Jo Reiff, Eric Reiff and Brady Reiff of Parkston, Brent, Nikki, Aira and Will Weller of Rochester, Minnesota, Richard and Nina Reiff, Lance Reiff, Wyatt, Amanda, Avery and Alyvia Beeson, Wally and Debbie Voigt, Matt, Amy, Emma and Lydia Yost of Wagner, Cleo Reiff, Paula Vilhauer, Craig Struckman of Ord, Nebraska, Jon and Molly Vilhauer, Ronald Mount and Darcy Gill.

JoAnn Houska of Wagner and Arlys Thompson enjoyed a fun First Dakota Mystery Tour from Monday until Friday in the state of Kansas.

Randy and Barb Schroeder and Jodi Clearey and baby, Karsyn of Atkinson, Nebraska were visitors Saturday afternoon in the home of their mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Margaret Poppe.

Jarvis and Marilyn Winckler attended the wedding of Chase Thury and Mariah Nelson on Saturday in Brookings, followed by a reception and dance.

Conrad and Erma Meyer, Karen Gearhart of Ramona, and Kevin and Sarah Meyer of Tabor were visitors on Sunday in the home of Marlo Anderson of Hartford. They all enjoyed eating out for dinner.

Ty Ridgway of Sioux City, Iowa is a visitor this week in the home of his grandmother, Reta Ridgway.

Jan Thomas and her daughter Macall and children, Colton, Mason and Harper of Phoenix, Arizona spent several days visiting Jan's brother, Jeff and Monica Wepking and Jan's mother, Barbara Wepking at the Good Samaritan Center in Tyndall. They enjoyed the many fun memories they had of Avon while here.

Arlys Thompson drove to Tyndall on Sunday where she visited Myra Klock at the Good Samaritan Center.

Todd Weber of Menno was a visitor and supper guest last Wednesday in the home of his other, Shirley and Jim Yonkers.

Diane Ewing of Sioux Falls and Jon and Lynn Stather were supper guests on Friday night in the home of their brother, Joe and Lisa Williams of Mitchell. They; along with Tate, Callie and Jack Williams of Letcher celebrated Lynn's birthday by going to the Corn Palace Stampeded Rodeo in the Evening.

Thursday noon lunch guests in the Bob and Debbie Ruppelt home were Clayton Wittmeier, his niece Janis (Wittmeier) and husband Doug Hoffman of Oregon, Donna Larsen of Crooks and Larry and Karen Johnson of Watertown. It was an enjoyable time of sharing and catching up on family time.
