Jarvis and Marilyn Winckler returned home last Wednesday after spending several days in Colorado Springs, Colorado visiting their daughters, Jennifer Winckler and Leslie, Mike, Brynlee and Emery Hirsch. A few days later the Hirsch family came to visit Jarvis and Marilyn. They all enjoyed the new water park in Yankton on Sunday.

Conrad and Erma Meyer and their daughter, Karen Gearhart of Ramona were guests on the 4th of July in the home of Marlo Anderson of Hartford.

Brian, Nan and Katie Renstrom and Gayle and Carley Cushenberry of Shoreview, Minnesota and Eric Thompson of Brandon were 4th of July weekend guests in the home of their mother and grandmother, Arlys Thompson. Arlys’ brother, Lyle and Kay Johnson of Salem joined them for dinner on the 4th.

Nathan, Crystal, Reina and Sloan Weber of Sioux Falls and Dave, Jennifer and Bodhi Blais of Fargo, North Dakota were 4th of July weekend guests in the home of their parents and grandparents, Jay and Sally Weber. Jim and Shirley Yonkers were supper guests on the third and fourth.

George Wiechmann and James Wiechmann of Rapid City were Friday visitors and luncheon guests of their grandparents, Curtis and Bette Koehn. They were on their way to Sioux Falls to attend a bachelor party for George, who is getting married later this month.

Matt and Karla VandeBossche of Lusk, Wyoming were visitors for several days in the home of her mother, Reta Ridgway.

Loren Vilhauer of Pierre and Clayton and Jean Vilhauer of Ft. Collins, Colorado and their sister, Charlene and Kevin Tjeerdsma celebrated the 4th of July together. They all returned to their home this past week.

Karen Rabe of Quincy, Illinois, Sandra DeGroot of Springfield, Tony Eben of Tyndall and Kenny Eben attended the Eben Reunion on Saturday in George, Iowa.

Sid and Dianna Stather of Portland, Maine were visitors last week in the home of his brother, Jon and Lynn Stather. On the 4th of July Jon and Lynn, Joe and Lisa Williams of Mitchell, and Diane Ewing of Sioux Falls got together to celebrate in Chamberlain. Monday evening supper guests of Jon and Lynn were Scott, Susan and DaNeila Jensen of Gayville and Zane Jensen and Andrea Sloan of Yankton. Jim and Vicki Schuurmans of Tyndall were Tuesday supper guests of Jon and Lynn. On Thursday Jon and Lynn were in Sioux Falls where they had lunch with Diane Ewing. On Friday Lynn had lunch with Jeanne Nickholson of Rapid City at Tolsma’s Cove.

Robin Schnaidt of Menno provided dinner last Monday in the home of her mother, Shirley and Jim Yonkers.

Kay Shumock of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina spent the week visiting in the home of her mother, Ethel Reiff.

Kevin, Sarah, Nate, Callie and Leah Meyer of Tabor were dinner guests on Sunday in the home of their parents and grandparents, Conrad and Erma Meyer following the Sunday morning worship service at the First Presbyterian Church.

Karen Rabe of Quincy, Illinois and her daughter, Laura and Travis Arnold of Liberty, Illinois were weekend guests in the home of their mother and grandmother, Irene Even. Other guests on Sunday were Gary and Sandra DeGroot of Springfield, Liam DeGroot of Sioux Falls, Mary Hofer of Yankton, and Tony and Kay Eben and Kendra Eben of Tyndall.

Todd Weber of Menno was a visitor and supper guest on Sunday in the home of his mother, Shirley and Jim Yonkers.

Jon and Lynn Stather and Wally and Debbie Voigt were visitors on Sunday in the home of Riley and Amy Reiff of Pickstown.

Betty Lou Harmacek and her daughter, Gay Lynn Harmacek of Chaska, Minnesota were 4th of July weekend guests from Saturday until Monday in the home of their daughter and sister, Julie and Jim Bridge of Alexandria. They also spent Saturday and Sunday at their cabin at Lake Hanson along with Jamin, Meggie, Blake, Cora and Clay Bridge of Colman, Kyle Keegan, Jenny Bridge and Taziah, and Roger and Kim DeRouchey of Alexandria, and the Siemsen family of Mitchell. No fireworks were allowed at the lake because of the drought.
