Jarvis and Marilyn Winckler hosted a Flag Day Party and Pot-Luck on Sunday noon in their garage. Guests enjoying the delicious food and fun and relaxing get-together were Dave and Sandy Brandt, Mike and Lisa Einrem, Larry and Sharon Kozel, Larry and Muriel Namminga, Kenny and Florence Powers, Michele Muller, Johnny and Jennifer Swatek and Betty Lou Harmacek.

Pam and Ty Ridgway of Sioux City, Iowa came last Sunday to pick up their mother-in-law and grandma, Reta Ridgway and take her to the home of her son, Kelly, Pam, Jesse and Ty Ridgway where she spent the week. She enjoyed watching her grandson, Ty play 4 baseball games with the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams and winning all games. Her granddaughter, Haley Ridgway and Stuart Bass of Yankton returned her to her home on Sunday.

Tom and Jo Reiff of Parkston and their grandchildren, Aira and Will Weller of Rochester, Minnesota, Cleo Reiff and Ronald Mount were visitors this past week in the home of Ethel Reiff.

Connie Hanson of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin was a visitor for a few days in the home of her sister-in-law, Shirley and Jim Yonkers. Other visitors were Kim Hanson of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Sandy Tankratz of Fondulac, Wisconsin, Robin Schnaidt and Todd Weber of Menno, Derick Gunther and Nikki Weber, Jayce and Brecklynn of Mitchell and Jay Weber.

Ruth Ollila of Rapid City was a visitor from Thursday until Sunday of her mother, Lillian Burfeindt. Elaine Vesely of Tyndall was also a visitor of her mother and sister.

Diane Ewing of Sioux Falls was a weekend guest in the home of her sister, Lynn and Jon Stather. Jim and Vicki Schuurmans of Tyndall joined them for supper Saturday night.

Ed and Sharon Van Gerpen visited her aunt Jessie Heusinkveld on Sunday at the Assisted Living in Springfield. Ed visited Clarence Vanderlei. On Wednesday, Sharon drove to Hull, Iowa where she visited and had lunch with her mother, Bernice Heusinkveld at Aspen Heights.

Jarvis and Marilyn Winckler and Dave and Sandy Brandt were in Mitchell on Saturday where they enjoyed watching their grandson, 7th grader Jaden Brandt of Pierre play a double-header in baseball.
