Eric and Jaime Wiechmann of Rapid City, Morgan Smith of Box Elder and Curtis and Bette Koehn attended the graduation of Curtis and Bette's grandson, George Wiechmann of Rapid City, who graduated from Mitchell Technical College (formerly Mitchell Vo'Tech) on Friday at the Corn Palace. They all went out for supper in Mitchell.
Diane Ewing of Sioux Falls was a weekend guest in the home of her sister, Lynn and Jon Stather. Joining Diane for dinner for Mother's Day were Jim and Vickie Schuurmans of Tyndall, Joe and Liza Williams of Mitchell, Tate, Calli and Jack Williams of Letcher, Haley, Reese and Trace Rogers of Brookings, Tyler, Nikki, Ava and Cora Williams, Kristen Linn and Remi Chau and Andrew, Tracy, Fiona, Kai and Harlan Gillen, all of Sioux Falls.
Jolene Conner and her daughter, Etta Ratzlaff of Chesapeake, Virginia arrived last Thursday and spent 3 days visiting their mother and grandmother, Carol Jurrens. Carol, Jolene and Etta, along with Dennis and Dixie Jurrens, Nicole Jurrens and friend Matt of Sioux Falls, Lauren and Laurie Jurrens, and Lexi Jurrens had dinner together on Mother's Day.
Ed and Sharon Van Gerpen drove to Hull, Iowa on Mother's Day where they visited her mother, Bernice Heusinkveld at Aspen Heights. They were dinner guests in the home of Sharon's sister, Betty and John Zoet of Hull, along with Darrell, Deb, Tyler and Emily Van Den Top, Brent, Amy, Katie and Jacob Van Den Top and Alex, Maria, Brystal and Camden Van Den Top, all of Hull.

Richard and Nina Reiff, Lance Reiff, Wyatt, Amanda, Avery and Alyvia Beeson, Wally and Debbie Voigt and Amy and Emma Yost were guests on Mother's Day in the home of their mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Ethel Reiff.
Todd Weber of Menno and his mother, Shirley and Jim Yonkers attended one of the three separate ceremonies of the Mitchell Technical College graduation on Friday at the Corn Palace in Mitchell. Their daughter and granddaughter, Nikki Weber of Mitchell was a member of the graduation class.
Beth Namminga, Darlene Nagel, Charmaine Pelton of Yankton and Ethel Cooper and her sister of Springfield drove to LeMars, Iowa on Saturday to a High Tea with the Brown family singers. Everyone in attendance wore a hat, pearls and gloves. It was a very entertaining day with a fancy lunch, the history of tea and the demonstrations of making chocolate tortes.

The celebrated Aira's 5th birthday with birthday cake and the hitting of pinata which was full of candy! Afternoon visitors were Kay Even of Tyndall and Kendra Even of Sioux Falls.

Beth Namminga enjoyed a three day visit from her first cousin, Ruth Ann Barker of Marquette, Michigan. They enjoyed sharing lots of memories. They were 2 of 48 grandchildren.
