Bernice Heusinkveld, a resident at Aspen Heights in Hull, Iowa enjoyed the visiting and lunch last Thursday at Decar Rock Restaurant in Rock Valley, Iowa with her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren, Sharon Van Gerpen, Carol Tjeerdsma of Marysville, Missouri, Betty Zoet, Amy Van Den Top, all of Hull, Iowa, Darla Van Gerpen, and Lanae, Royce and Rollins Kriz.

Todd Weber of Menno and his mother, Shirley Yonkers drove to Mitchell on Saturday where they were guests in the home of their daughter and granddaughter. Nikki Weber, Jayce and Brecklynn and Derick Gunther. They celebrated Jayce's fifth birthday.

Wally and Debbie Voigt drove to Lake Andes on Saturday where they attended a Track Meet of their granddaughter, Lydia Yost of Parkston. The next event on Saturday was the wedding of Rebecca Dykstra and Tyson Thorsen which was held at the Presbyterian Church in Sioux Falls, followed by a wedding reception at the Emeral Pine Barn. On Sunday, Wally and Debbie drove to Parkston where they attended the Confirmation of their granddaughter, Emma Yost at the Congregational Church.

Margaret Poppe and her daughter, Brenda and Mel Fathke and their granddaughters, Kiera Fathke and Addi Fathke were visitors and luncheon guests on Saturday in the home of Margaret's daughter, Barb and Randy Schroeder of Atkinson, Nebraska. In the afternoon, Barb, Margaret and Brenda and the girls attended a Baby Shower for Margaret's granddaughter, Jodi Cleery in Atkinson.

Tom and Jo Reiff of Parkston, Amanda, Avery and Alyvia Beeson, Lauren Hayden and Ronald Mounth were visitors this past week in the home of Ethel Reiff.

Kevin and Charlene Tjeerdsma and Susan Cahoy and Shelly Miller of Mitchell took their mother, Cornelia Tjeerdsma of Tyndall and Robert Tjeerdsma of Springfield out to eat for her birthday last Tuesday and then came to her apartment for birthday cake and ice cream. On Wednesday, Cornelia's sister and sister-in-law, Alice Van Zee and Elaine Boltjes of Platte came to celebrate her birthday.

Conrad and Erma Meyer were visitors on Saturday in the home of their son, Kevin, Sarah, Nate, Kallie and Leah Meyer, Alex and Evan Sallee and Bryleigh Payne of Tabor. On Sunday Conrad and Erma and their daughter, Karen Gearhart of Ramona were visitors in the home of Marlo Anderson of Hartford.

Jay and Sally Weber and their twin granddaughters, Reina and Sloan Weber of Sioux Falls were visitors on Sunday morning in the home of Jay's mother, Shirley and Jim Yonkers.

Ed and Sharon Van Gerpen attended the Baptism of their great-grandson, Rollins Gary Kirz, son of Jay and Lanae Kriz and brother of Royce, Sunday morning at the Zion Lutheran Church.

Karen Rabe of Payson, Illinois and her daughter, Amy and Tay Sonethonegkamb were weekend visitors in the home of their mother and grandmother, Irene Eben. Joining them for Sunday dinner were Tony even of Tyndall, Kendra Even of Sioux Falls, Gary and Sandra DeGroot of Springfield and Rosalie Schack of Owatonna, Minnesota.

Margo Nedved of Rapid City met Betty Lou Harmacek for refreshments at A-1 on Friday. She had just been to the funeral of Dick Soukup in Tyndall and was on her way home.
