Friday evening guests in the Clayt Wittmeier home were Karen & Larry Johnson and granddaughter Maya.
They joined Donna & Joe Larsen; Ryan & Abby Larsen family; Greg & Jenny Olsen and Lincoln; Laura & Mike Griffith family (all of Sioux Falls area ) at the home of Debra & Bob Ruppelt for a Saturday morning Easter brunch. Others in attendance were Brian Ruppelt of Brookings, and Eric & Anna Ruppelt of Oakland, IA. Afternoon activities were planned for the grandchildren and the beautiful sunny day was a perfect touch of time together.
Todd Weber of Menno and his mother, Shirley Yonkers drove to Mitchell on Saturday where they visited and had supper with their sister and granddaughter, Nikki Weber, Jayce and Brecklynn, and Derick Gunther.

Steve, Beth and Megan Kozel of Spearfish, and Zach Kozel, a student at South Dakota State University of Brookings were visitors from Friday until Monday in the home of their parents and grandparents, Larry and Sharon Kozel. Joining them for Easter Sunday dinner were Julie, Abby and Simon Freier of Parkston.
Arlys Thompson was a dinner guest on Easter Sunday in the home of her son, Eric, Dana, Emily, Morgon, Ethan and Brady Thompson of Brandon. Also attending was Arlys’ brother, Lyle and Kay Johnson of Salem.
Elaine Vesely of Tyndall and her daughter, Laura, Scott, Janaye and Kason Welsh of Sioux Falls were visitors on Saturday of their mother and grandmother, Lillian Burfeindt at the Meadow View Manor. On Easter Sunday morning they all returned and brought Lillian to the Sunday morning worship service at the First Presbyterian Church.
Randy and Barb Schroeder of Atkinson, Nebraska, Ryan Schroeder, Brad and Shelly Poppe, Nick and Brook Poppe of Omaha, Nebraska, Mel and Brenda Fathke, Chris, Nikki, Braylon, Zander and Kiera Fathke, and Danny, Lindsey, Daxton, and Addisyn Fathke enjoyed Easter Sunday dinner in the home of their mother and grandmother, Margaret Poppe.

Kevin and Charlene Tjeerdsma were Easter guests on Saturday in the home of his sister, Susan and Randy Cahoy of Mitchell, along with Kevin’s brother, Joel, Deb and Ethan Tjeerdsma of Rogers, Minnesota, and Cornelia Tjeerdsma. From Mitchell Kevin and Charlene drove to Sioux Falls where they were Saturday overnight guests in the home of their son Tyler, Zayden, and Kinley Tjeerdsma and Courtney Bruget. Zayden and Kinley returned to Avon Sunday night with their grandparents, Kevin and Charlene.
Jim and Shirley Yonkers were Easter supper guests Saturday night in the home of her daughter, Robin and Jim Schnaidt of Menno, along with Jordon Schnaidt of Menno, and Evan, LaNaie and Elliotte Schnaidt of Crooks. On Easter Sunday, Jim and Shirley were dinner guests in the home of her son, Jay and Sally Weber, and with Nathan, Krystal, Reina and Sloan Weber of Sioux Falls, and Dave, Jennifer, and Bodhi Blais of Fargo, North Dakota.
Beth Namminga and Ethel Cooper of Springfield enjoyed a fun ten-day bus trip through Allied Travel and Tours to Savannah and Charleston. They went on city tours, walked in the Atlantic Ocean, went to Baltimore Estates, toured the only tea plantation, went to the Grand Ole Opry, and the Kentucky Derby.
