Don and Ethel Berndt of Canby, Minnesota, and their daughters, Michelle Anderson of Sioux Falls and Melissa Halsne of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Patrick Crain of North Sioux City, Mary Ann Rucktaeschel of Wagner, Carrie Mikkonen of Parkston, and Matt, Liz and Evie Eggers of Avon were guests of Dave and Carol Eggers on June 4th.

Ruth Ollila of Rapid City was a visitor of her sister, Elaine Vesely of Tyndall and her mother, Lillian Burfeindt from last Friday until Wednesday. She was here to attend Avon's All-School Reunion.

Jon and Lynn Stather drove to Sioux Falls last Thursday where they had lunch with her sister, Diane Ewing of Sioux Falls. On Friday they drove to Yankton where they had lunch with his daughter, Susan and Scott Jensen of Gayville. On Saturday Jon and Lynn drove to Letcher to attend a birthday bash at the home of Tate and Callie Williams for their great-nephews, Jack Williams who turned four and Trace Rogers who turned three years. Trace is the son of Jimmy and Haley Rogers of Brookings.

Erma Meyer attended the Odens family reunion on Saturday at the Community Center in Springfield where she met up with Larry and Joyce Svanda of Tea, Cornelia Tjeerdsma of the Assisted Living in Springfield, Kvan Jelsma of Springfield and his fiance' Jane Moes of Osmond, Nebraska, Lloyd and Janice Haan of Pollack, North Dakota, Jim and Megan Wittmeier of Humansville, Missouri, and Jerralynne Tjeerdsma of Sioux Falls.

Ed and Sharon Van Gerpen drove to Yankton on Sunday where they had dinner with her sister, Betty and John Zoet of Hull, Iowa. They visited their aunt, Jessie Heusinkveld at Majestic Bluffs in Yankton.

Mike and Kris Haller of Omaha, Nebraska were weekend visitors in the home of her sister, Reta Ridgway. Kris attended her 50 year high school reunion in Tyndall.

Jarvis and Marilyn Winckler celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary at Tolsma's Cove Saturday night. Attending the celebration and also visiting at the Winckler home were Mike, Leslie, Brynlee and Emery Hirsch, Jennifer Winckler and Kim Echt, all of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Kelly, Lisa, Carissa, Paige and Jaden Brandt and Brayden, Courtney and Stella Espeland, all of Pierre, Phil and Jane Hirsch of Divide, Colorado, Janice Miller of Aberdeen, and Steve Thury of Sioux Falls.

Dave and Sandy Brandt attended the 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration for her sister, Carol and Dave Eggers on Friday night and the 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration for Jarvis and Marilyn Winckler on Saturday night. They also had guests who had come for the celebration.

Todd Weber of Menno was a visitor last Wednesday in the home of his mother, Shirley and Jim Yonkers.
