The annual Jimmi Rose Memorial Barrel Race was held in Huron on August 22. Local cowgirls attending were Joni, Dusti and Aspen Laska. Along with added jackpot money, average prizes were awarded on times accumulated from two separate runs for the day.

Aspen competed in the Pee Wee division and received a prize. Dusti competed in the Youth and Open divisions. She won both the Youth 2D rounds getting a check for each run. For her efforts in the Open division she received an average prize for 2nd place in the Open 4D. Joni received a buckle for winning the Open 3D division.
