Ms. Saddi Wynia is a beloved member of the school and a fantastic counselor. Her first memory of Avon was thinking that it was huge because she went to a small country school when she was young.Shewouldlikethestudents to remember her as a helpful person, a positive influence, and someone they could always talk to. Ms. Wynia’s biggest achievement this year has been that she gets to start a national honors society chapter. Her biggest inspiration is when students reach their full potential. The best thing about her job is getting to see the students and the worst thing is feeling like she doesn’t have enough time for everything she needs to do.

Today we will be looking into her life and thoughts. Ms. Wynia once played in an orchestra overseas and can officiate weddings. She has had many animals in her life including, cats, dogs, chickens, horses, and a chinchilla. She is tapped out on animals and doesn’t plan on getting any in the future. She has traveled to a lot of places but her dream vacation has to be in Egypt. Her summer vacation consisted of professional development, spending time with family and friends, kayaking, and outdoor activities. Her favorite food has got to be her mom's fried chicken and she is a master at makinghomemadechickennoodle soup. She said that even if she won the lottery she wouldn’t give up counseling but would pay off her student loans and give some away. She doesn’t have a tradition for the first day of school, but a good day for her is when everyone is happy and no one is crying.

One piece of advice she would give to students would be “Don’t take high school too seriously.” You should always try your best butabadgradeisnottheendof the world”. Ms. Wynia still has trouble remembering names but she's always learning.Sheenjoysallof the school sports, along with theatre, oralinterp,andhomecomingskits. When asked if she could choose anydecadetobebornin,shewould want to be born between the ’60s and ’70s; because she loves the music and clothing style of that decade. A song she knows by heart is American Money by Borns. She has two quotes that she tries to live by, “Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times if one only remembers to turn on the light”, and “Be curious, not judgmental”. Overall, Ms. Wynia is a loved facultymemberandI’msureshe’ll be remembered as an amazing counselor and an overall great person.
