The staff of the Lake Andes Carnegie Public Library sends wishes for a Happy Thanksgiving. We are thankful for all of our patrons. If you haven’t visited in a while we hope to see you soon.

The library will be closed on Thursday, November 28th so that our staff can spend the holiday with their friends and family. We will be open our regular hours on Friday.

With the advent of winter weather and the possibility of winter storms the library follows the same schedule as the Andes Central School district so that our patrons can remain safe. If school is closed because of weather the library will also be closed. We will try to make this announcement at school if there is an early release for bad weather. Any books etc. that are due that day will be due the next day we are open and no late fees will be charged.

The Solid Finances webinars will start up again on Dec. 4th beginning at 1:00 pm . The subject for the upcoming session is “Retirement Planning: Important Decisions for Early Career Workers. Remember if you cannot make the 1:00 time all webinars are archived and may be viewed at the library at any time we are open.
