The Lake Andes Public Library will be hosting “Solid Finances” webinars beginning this Wednesday. “Solid Finances is collaboration between NDSU and Montana State University Extension. Webinars begin the 30th of October with the topic; “Home Buying Jargon: What Do I Need to Know?” All sessions are free and there are sessions on Wednesdays through March 11th beginning at 1:00 p.m., and sessions are 55 minutes. A schedule can be picked up at the library. There is no need to pre-register and you are able to pick and choose the sessions that best fit your needs. There are also 50 archived sessions which can be viewed as well. Come to the library and check it out or give us a call at 487-7524.

The library is holding a contest at the Library for the Halloween Holiday for all children. Come in to place your guess on the amount of candy corn in the jar. The closest guess has their choice of two Halloween books or the jar of candy. Contest ends at 6:00 on Wednesday, the 30th.
