Summer Programming at the Library is in the home stretch with only ten days left as of July 22. But don’t think we don’t have some great activities still planned! It is not too late to join us Monday-Friday, with sessions held at 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00. All programming is held at the library.

The “Reading to the Moon” summer reading program for anyone ages 0-99 has reached just over 20,000 pages. Thanks to all adult readers who have been turning in the number of pages they have read during the summer. We will be tabulating reading pages through August 9th. It is not too late to turn in your number of pages.

The library is holding a Build a Bear: Alien workshop on Thursday, July 25th at the Lake Andes Community Center beginning at 6:00 pm. Each child ages 0-18 years will receive a free hot dog supper, a story time will be held for all children and a book give away to each child present. Building the Alien will conclude our evening. Cost to reserve an alien is $3.00 per child. Come and join the fun.
