Thank you everyone who attended the Library Open house on Wed. February 7th. I would like to personally thank Evelyn Conn and Janet Evans who volunteered their time to help with clean up of the building after construction and helped to organize and clean various items from the former library. Thank you to the library employees for their persistence in getting things organized and shelved. Thank you to members of the library board and the City of Lake Andes City Council, former Financial Officer Debbie Houseman and current Financial Officer Charlotte Pesicka , Donna Ishmael and City Maintenance workers. I also want to thank all those who have been asking about the progress of the library and supporting the process of moving the library.

The open house is just the beginning of a new chapter at the library. If you were one of the visitors at the open house we look forward to seeing you again. If you were not able to visit during the open house please feel free to visit anytime during our regular hours.
