It is finally here. The Library is moving from the 500 Main Street location to the new location at 17 Park Ave, which is across the street to the south from the Andes Central School playground. The library will now be known as the Lake Andes Public Library, as we are moving out of the Carnegie building. The building at 500 Main Street will now be renovated and used as a City of Lake Andes Museum.

Because of the move the library at both locations will be closed at least until Wednesday, November 1st. If as an adult you are in desperate need of an internet connection before November 1st and we will try to help you. The library will be helping with the Reading Night at Andes Central on Oct 23rd 5:006:00. There will be a chance to apply for a library card for children or adults. The library is also going to be at the Trunk or Treat being held at the Andes Central Parking Lot on Friday, Oct. 27th 5:007:00. Hope to see you at these events.
