The date to move the Lake Andes Library from the location at 500 Main Street to the new location at 17 Park Ave. is within site. The library staff has been finishing up details at the new site, cleaning, putting together furnishings, etc.

The library staff is hoping the new location will be an inviting, safe space, for users of the library ages 0-99. Restrooms on the main floor, no steps to enter the building or in the building itself makes the space accessible to all.

Unfortunately, during the move the library will be closed to the public. We will post a sign on the door of the 500 Main Street location in advance of our closing and also on the Library Facebook page.
