Reading is such as important skill to practice the year round. Summer slump in reading is a real thing. If your child or you need new reading materials the library has many new selections to choose from. Book check out is still happening at the old library located at 500 Main Street. Computers are also still at the old library.

The city of Lake Andes has secured the loan to update electricity, internet and purchase items to make the building at 17 Park Ave. into the library. We hope to be moving before school starts or by the end of August. Watch for updates on our Facebook page.
