This week’s article is full of reminders of coming events.

• Summer programming starts this week and will be held at the 17 Park Ave. (across from the Andes Central playground) location.

• Last day to sign up for summer programming is Friday, June 16th, to be eligible for the incentive trip.

• Library Board meeting, Tuesday, June 13th at 4:45 at the 17 Park Ave. location. This meeting is open to the public.

• Flag Day is Wednesday, June 14th. A Flag Retirement Ceremony will be held at 7:00 pm at 3rd and Main. Bring your flags which you wish to retire, or leave at the library.

• Friday, June 16th at 1:15 the library will be hosting “Gypsy Cowbelle” at the 17 Park Ave location. Open to anyone interested in a musical good time. If the weather is nice, we will be outdoors, so bring your lawn chairs. Funding to bring this performer to Lake Andes is provided by the South Dakota Arts Council and SD Humanities Council.
