More titles of new books our patrons can find at the Lake Andes Public Library “Bubble Trouble” by Heather Krantz, MD This children’s book uses mindfulness to help kids with grief.

“A Perfect Day” by Jennifer Yerkes A children’s book describing in pictures and few words a summer day, ending in a summer thunderstorm.

“I Have a Little Problem,” said the bear” by Heinz Janisch A children’s book about how important it is to listen.

“She Sang To The Wind…” by Liz Fayer A middle school book about the importance and contributions of female Native American leaders.

“I’m Here” by Peter H. Reynolds. This book will support children in learning about community, empathy, and kindness.

“Saturday” by Oge Mora. Join Ava and her mom as they have a day where their plans do not go as they had anticipated. Though their day has ups and downs , they are reminded the best part about Saturdays is spending time together.
