The new front door to the library project was added on Friday, the 28th, and so the complete renovation is complete. The library building looks very nice. Thank you to the City of Lake Andes for preserving the building with the help of a grant from the South Dakota Historical Society Grant. The work that has been done will ensure that the building will be a part of Lake Andes into the future.

The library will be closed to patrons on November 11th in observance of Veteran’s Day. The library has books on various conflicts and wars, memoirs by veterans, even one that is written by a former citizen of the Lake Andes area. Come and check out what is available.
