The library will hold it’s annual book sale on August 18 and 19th during regular library hours 1-5 p.m. Books come from discarded library books and donations of books to the library. The library is looking to purchase books for the adult section of the library. If there is an author that you would like the library to start carrying please feel free to contact us at the library.

With school starting just a reminder that National Library Card month is September 2022. A library card is free to anyone who is enrolled at Andes Central, or the parent/guardian of those children or teachers/staff at Andes Central. Residents of Lake Andes also are able to receive a library card for no charge. Remember the library does not charge fines for being late to return books, magazines or DVDs, but if an item is lost or destroyed a replacement fee is charged and no use of computers or check out of materials is allowed until fees are paid.
