The Library will be closed on Monday, July 4th, 2022. The library staff wishes everyone a safe and happy Independence Day. If you choose to celebrate with the reading of a mystery, romance or historic novel may we suggest the free service of Libby. The Libby App can be downloaded to your phone, PC or electronic reader. Everyone who has a library card from the Lake Andes Public Library has a sign in code for this free service. If you have questions on how this works stop at the library for help.

Michael Albert, Collage Artist is coming to Lake Andes on Thursday, July 14th for a FREE workshop. The workshop will be held at the Lake Andes Community Center at 207 Main Street, beginning at 10:00 am until Noon. The workshop is open to anyone; youth and adults. Every participant will go home with a collage poster of their own making and a poster by Mr. Albert. The posters are made using cut-offs from food packaging containers. It would be appreciated but not necessary to bring food packaging containers. Questions contact the library at 605 487-7524.
