February is Black History Month and what better way to commemorate that month than reading a selection by a black author, or a selection based on black history. We have books for all ages in these categories that we would love to share with you.

February is also the celebration of Presidents Day. This is not only the birthdays of former presidents Washington and Lincoln, but the celebration of all of our former and present presidents. Biographies from many of our former presidents are available for reading at the library, as well as those available from the Libby app. The Libby app requires you to download the app to your phone or laptop device, obtain your login password from the library (available for free for all members of our community, along with your library card) and enjoy reading a book, magazine or watching a DVD.

With a threat of bad weather, just a reminder that if school is called off for weather the library will be closed as well.
