The Library Board met in early December and have decided the library will offer a flag deposit service. If you have a U.S. flag which has become unusable you may bring it to the library and we will insure it is disposed of correctly.

The library has recently received stocking caps and gloves to add to the collection of items (diapers, socks and scarves) which have been donated to hand out to our patrons in need. The stocking caps and gloves were sent from a friend of the library who lives on the East Coast. If you pick up items and would like to sign a thank you card available at the library we will forward it to her.

The library was also gifted a grant from the Dorothy Louise Kyler Foundation. The library received $5,000 to be used to purchase children’s and young adult books, DVD and e-books.
